I am an HOA Manager or Board Member, and I need to cancel my HOA's paid subscription, how do I do that?
Go to app.hoamessenger.com and sign in with your manager credentials.
Click your profile name at the bottom-left corner of the sidebar (below the main navigation menu).
Click the Billing tab at the top of the page.
Review your subscription details to confirm the plan you're canceling and note the "Ends On" date.
Click "Cancel Subscription" (the red-outlined button to the right of your subscription information).
Tips/Notes:
Make sure you're logging in at app.hoamessenger.com (the Manager Portal), not resident.hoamessenger.com (the Resident Portal). Subscription settings are only accessible from the Manager Portal.
Your subscription will continue until the "Ends On" date with a countdown, and your subscription will automatically be cancelled on the "Ends On" date. You will have full access to the application's premium features until that time.
The "Switch Billing Period" button allows you to change between Monthly and Annual billing if you decide to keep your subscription.
Troubleshooting:
Issue: I don't see the Cancel Subscription button.
Fix: Confirm you're on the Billing tab (not Profile). If you're on the Free Plan, there is no subscription to cancel.
Issue: I can't find my profile settings.
Fix: Look at the very bottom of the left sidebar. Your name and title appear below the main navigation items like Payments and Accounting. Click directly on your name.
Issue: I can't access the Billing tab or subscription settings.
Fix: Make sure you're logged in at app.hoamessenger.com, not the resident portal. Only the Manager Portal provides access to subscription management.
