What is a Direct Message and who can receive them?
Direct Messages(DMs) are messages that are sent to an individual HOA Resident, vendor or Co-Manager who has registered a profile on the HOA Messenger Mobile App. Direct Messages will also sent via email to the email address that was used to register on the mobile app.

How do I sent a Direct Message using the Desktop/Web App?
First Navigate to the Messaging section then click “Start a new conversation” or click on the Pencil Icon.
Then Select "Resident", confirm HOA, and select the resident you want to send a message to.
Then enter your message content and click the send icon.

Messaging FAQs
Q: I sent a message and it disappeared after I sent it. Why is this happening? A: The most likely reason is because the messaging feature has a 2000 character cap. Therefore, if the message you sent was longer than 2000 characters then it will not go through after sending.
Q: Who can view an individual direct message? A: Only the resident who received the message, the manager who sent the message, or any co-managers can view and respond to a direct message.
