Quick Summary of the HOA onboarding process using the Desktop Application
Registration: The main sign-up screen prompts users to enter their email and create a password. Clicking "Continue". Once Inside the platform, the user registers the first HOA by entering its name and zip code, and clicking "Save".
Custom Picture: Manager can upload a unique HOA picture for each community, providing a personalized touch for each HOA profile.
Onboarding Residents: There are two ways to onboard residents:
Manual Onboarding: Property managers or HOA administrators can manually enter resident information in the non-app resident section.
Self-Serve Onboarding: Residents can be notified of the new platform and onboard themselves. If residents choose to onboard themselves they would need to:
- Download the HOA Messenger Mobile app from their device's app store.
- Find their HOA by zip code.
- Create their own profile.
Note that allowing residents to self-onboard could save administrators time, but it does rely on the residents to take action. A combination of both self-serve and manual onboarding methods may be useful depending on the community.
